After Work Bars near Dupont/Farragut/McPherson area in DC?

I work on the hill, but want to take my fiance down to some bars for happy hour or nice drinks in the Dupont Circle/Farragut W/N or McPherson Square area in DC...





I'm looking for an more mature crowd(no jeans and t-shirts groups of ppl like some Dupont dives offer)...We're in our 30's...preferably somewhere nice,but not too stuffy...





ALSO--on another note--the Lounge bar at Mayflower hotel, what is the dress code for a man there?
