Why don't we use INDUSTRIAL HEMP, or at least explore the resource?

OK the problems are no longer LEFT or RIGHT!


The problem is that our government has been bought and sold by major corporate interest.


The looming energy crisis could be solved by legalizing INDUSTRIAL HEMP!


The only reason it is illegal is because way back after hemp helped us win a couple wars, DuPont, Big Cotton, Big Oil, Paper Company's and White Supremacists rallied to make it illegal because INDUSTRIAL HEMP would hinder if not make these corporations obsolete.


I am not talking about Marijuana lets get that straight.


INDUSTRIAL HEMP has very little THC (active substance in pot)


It is the strongest natural fiber know to man.


It grows faster than corn and yields more bio-fuel mass.


For 1 crop of corn a farmer could harvest 3 crops of hemp in a season.


Our constitution was written on hemp paper and it is still around, wood pulp paper takes virgin resources and excretes mercury and other terrible chemicals into YOUR water!


As a food source HEMP has more protein than soy, and has all of your essential fatty acids, omegas, and a grocery list of vita mins.


So this is clearly a situation that could be solved by repealing a set of laws based on GREED!


I am all about liberty, I am unaffiliated with either party.


To be a "staunch" any thing is foolish!


Be critical of the RIGHT be critical of the LEFT!

Canada has been growing industrial hemp since about 1995.





Hemp rope is much superior to manila rope in many ways. I used to purchase all my hemp rope from northern Europe, but now I get my hemp rope from Canada.|||put simply - the government is afraid that people will smoke it. Believe me though, i use hemp, smoke the hell outta weed and there ain't nothing "the man" is going to do about it. I sit on my front porch with a shot gun and fox hole close by just in case i gotta go to war.|||Why ask a question if you're just going to stand on a soapbox? This is not the purpose of YA.|||because timber and chemical companies got the US to ban all use of the plant so that they could continue to make money by making paper out of trees. they used the psychoactive properties (and racism) as an excuse to ban the whole plant, but their goal was banning the use of it for tree and rope.
