Do you think you could have survived the depression, if somehow you could go back there in a time machine?

If you think you could have hacked the 30's depression, for how long? If you had to be a train hobo to grab some basic grub, would you do it?


I not only know i could do it, but I think it would be incredible to go back to those days.....no one had anything, life was cut back to the bare nubs, and people couldn't help but be down to earth.


And the bastard Rockefeller and DuPont upper 1% that held 40% of the wealth were always in fear of being attacked at any time.





1930s......what a singular, interesting time it was......|||sure I could handle the 1930's hell I could handle the 1830's I can live off the land.|||If I could go back to the Great Depression, I would love to be a member of the CCC, and help build some of the trails and things the CCC built. I would also love to visit small communities, and collect folk music.


I would love to be in Scotland during the 1930's as well--a lot of folk traditions would still be alive during that time...
