Some of the major arguments in favor of marijuana are:





Adult's right to choose - better than alcohol in many ways for the responsible adult.


Ridding the cartels of control - helping fight gang organization


Taxation - over $1 billion in taxes per year that's gone unclaimed for decades.


Prison overcrowding - No more pot related arrests. (also in the billions to maintain those prisoners)


Public belief - In a vote, would we decide to legalize?
